JVS West Hollywood and Marina Del Rey WorkSource Centers

Jobseekers find all of the resources they needed to choose appropriate career paths and land employment. Unique to JVS' West Hollywood WorkSource Center is its special focus on youth and young adults including youth on public assistance and pregnant and parenting teens. The Center also contains the area's greatest concentration of assistive technology for jobseekers with vision or hearing impairments. Another key component are its business services, which offer recruitment, screening and skills assessment for local area businesses.

The JVS West Hollywood WorkSource Center and JVS Marina Del Rey Center are part of the network of WorkSource centers throughout the County of Los Angeles. It maintains contracts with the City of West Hollywood for adults, as well as County WIA projects with adults, dislocated workers, youth, special needs and welfare to work populations. The WorkSource Centers collaborate with the State Department of Rehabilitation and the Employment Development Department offices, with counselors on hand at the WorkSource Centers to provide a full complement of services to job seekers.

Youth and Young Adults

“Thank you for the excellent services I received from JVS’ West Hollywood WorkSource Center earlier this year. These services helped me land an editing position at an excellent company only two months after registering. I’m glad that in these tough times—a down job market and tight funding—services like JVS can still make a difference.”
